David Bringhurst

Dr. Bringhurst has been a Clinical Associate Professor at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work since 2013. He has worked in social services and the social work arena since 1986, including 21 years as an active-duty military social worker in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Lt Col. LCSW 1998-2018. Bringhurst was a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from 1999 – 2013. He received his PhD in social work from the University of Utah in 2005. Strengths: Inclusive, responsible, positive, learner, and future-oriented.
